Bellver

Bellver

BELLVER PLA GROUP aware of the need of a new paradigm for the use of resources has devoted their main activities to the valorisation; recovery and recycling of scrap metal and as well or other recyclable materials. BELLVER PLA GROUP consists of 4 companies (Bellver Pla, Trans-Recicla, Desguaces Santa Ana and Fragmentadora y Metales) strategically located throughout the province of Valencia and Zaragoza, with over 50 years’ experience in the recycling sector.

BELLVER PLA GROUP is an Authorised Treatment Centre of Vehicles and a member of the Spanish Federation of Recycling (FER). When the vehicle reaches the end of their useful life, they get decontaminated and treated at our facilities. Once decontaminated they are then transported and fragmented at the shredder plant that we have in Calatayud, Zaragoza. During the whole process, all relevant paperwork and certificates are issued. BELLVER PLA GROUP has a modern and advanced classification system that allows sorting metals according to their size, as well as the recovery of other material light fractions. In BELLVER PLA GROUP over 200,000 tons of materials, both ferrous and non-ferrous, are treated every year.

Lipor

http://wordpress.ecobulk.eu/partners/une/

LIPOR – Intermunicipal Waste Management of Greater Porto is responsible for the management, recovery and treatment of the Municipal Waste produced in the eight associated municipalities: Espinho, Gondomar, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim, Valongo and Vila do Conde. Lipor was founded in 1982 as a Municipalities Association and it has implemented an integrated waste management, recovered, developed and built infrastructures and organized awareness campaigns for the population. Every year, Lipor treats about 500,000 tons of municipal waste – MW – that are produced by about 1 million inhabitants. Based on modern MW management concepts that stand for the implementation of integrated systems and reduction of waste disposal in landfills, Lipor has developed an integrated strategy for the recovery, treatment and confinement of MW, based on three main areas: Multi-material Recovery, Organic Recovery and Energy Recovery, which are complemented by a Landfill where rejected and previously prepared waste is sent to.

The motto of LIPOR’s strategy – Towards Sustainability – depicts a sustainable management that combines the three main principles of Sustainable Development and defines LIPOR’s current and future action. In this context, in all its activities, products and services, as well as in relationships with all stakeholders, Lipor defined, as part of its sustainable management strategy, as its policy for quality, environment, energy, health and safety, social responsibility and innovation. The External Recognition of the Organization is the result of collective commitment, engagement and dedication of the Board of Directors, Employees, associated Municipalities and all of our Partners, always in search of Excellence. This recognition can be stated by several awards that Lipor has received over the years.

A bold and multidisciplinary project like Lipor cannot be developed without any cooperation. Based on this principle, LIPOR strongly invests in the cooperation and engagement with national and international entities and institutions. The conjoint efforts and sharing of experiences between several entities facilitate the fulfilment of the defined goals, increase our chances of success and allow us to respond more quickly. LIPOR is always aware of the collective development in terms of environment, and particularly waste, thus developing an international approach that involves closer connections with Associations and
Institutions and the participation in work groups. The exchange of experiences contributes to the implementation of new projects.
